Bride with balloons on her wedding day

Because Grandma wants to celebrate you, with you

We're so glad you're here! Party with Grandma puts family first by looking after your elderly loved ones at life's biggest events. From weddings to graduations to birthday parties and more, we do it all.

physical therapist and owner of Party with Grandma standing by Lake Tahoe

Here's a little bit about me:

  • I'm a licensed physical therapist working with primarily older adults in the hospital setting (hip replacements, strokes, heart attacks - you name it, I've seen it)

  • I earned my bachelor's degree from Fresno State (Go 'Dogs!) and my doctorate degree from Sacramento State (Stingers Up!)

  • I work in an 800+ bed, Level 2 Trauma Center acute care hospital in Reno

  • I married my wonderful husband in May 2025 and we have a very spoiled cat named Felix

  • I founded Party with Grandma while we were planning our own Tahoe wedding because we wished we could hire someone like me!

Welcome! If you're concerned about whether your elderly family members can attend your upcoming event, you're in the right place. I'm your resident senior care expert - whatever your grandparents, parents, aunts, and uncles need at your event, I'm there! I'm also a 2025 bride so I know exactly how you're feeling right about now. I can't wait to connect with you about how we can bring your loved ones together on your special day.

Hi! I'm Jenna

What is Party with Grandma?

Party with Grandma is a senior concierge service to care for your elderly family members at events including:

  • Weddings and elopements

  • Graduations

  • Birthday parties

  • Retirement parties

  • Family reunions

  • Church events

  • ...and more!

Those of an advanced age may require more help with tasks that most of us take for granted.

We're here to help so that everyone (including you!) can enjoy your event to the fullest without worrying about things like:

Mobility with and without an assistive device

Examples of assistive devices are walkers, canes, and wheelchairs

Mobility in inclement weather

Hello, random Tahoe snowstorms!

Mobility on uneven terrain, inclines, and stairs

Navigating new environments can be a nerve-wracking experience, especially for those who have a history of falls

Transfers from one surface to another

Examples include getting in/out of a car and on/off a toilet

Mealtimes

Mealtimes can involve standing in line at a buffet or physically bringing food from plate to mouth

Toileting and hygiene

Anything and everything bathroom related (no one wants to deal with this - except us!)

Taking breaks

Loud or busy environments (aka weddings) can be overstimulating for older folks
